Our primary research interests are in data mining, machine learning and bioinformatics. In recent years, we have extensive research in causal discovery for evidence-based decision making, robust, fair and interpretable machine learning.
We are conducting applied research in various areas including event detection with satellite images and sensory data, anomaly detection in time series and social media data, causality-based recommender systems, heterogeneous treatment effect in marketing and medicare, and learning analytics.
Our research work has been supported by Australian Research Council Discovery (ARC) grants and various CRC and industrial grants, and our research results have been published widely in top international journals and conferences. We will deliver you smart solutions for your complex data problems.
